myPod Apps was created by Chris Devor in Arlington, Virginia USA. While the company was started as a part-time hobby in 2008, it has grown into a multi-person organization with a few highly talented full-time software developers and a handful of freelance employees around the world. Our offices are located in the Washington, DC area and Huston Texas.

The developers at myPod Apps are huge proponents of freeware and recognize its huge contribute to a significant population throughout the world. With this mentality, the company is unique in offering significant amounts of freeware to the public in cobination with charging for more its perfected and high-maintence software products. In this high-risk niche market with continually changing market conditions and development requirements we are unable to provide a truely accurate forcast for our software changing from freeware to shareware or vice versa. However, we put forth great efforts to ensure that almost every product we do release is available to the public as freeware for at a minimum of 9 months (and some of them we plan to keep as freeware forever).

In the event that one of our pieces of software is upgrade from freeware to shareware, don't fret, we will look out for you. We will do our best to make sure of the following points to be fair to our freeware users:
1. We will leave both the new shareware version and the older freeware version publically available for at least two months after making this kind of swith.
2. We will ensure that there is a significant amount of development that goes into the upgrade of the product such that we are not just changing the price of the product.
3. During the first few weeks our new shareware products will sell at a greatly reduced price (75% or more) so as to extend a significant benefit for those who found the program early on.
